Routine

I am so proud of Travis (and Joseph & I) for establishing a somewhat predictable routine. Travis and I wake up around 0800-0900 to start our day. I’ll change him, feed him, play for a bit, and then takes his first nap of the day around 1030-1130. His first nap tends to be somewhat long so he won’t wake up till 1200-1300 (depending on what time he went to nap). We’ll do the same thing (feed, change, play) until it’s time to take his second nap, which is usually around 1500-1600. Same thing again once he wakes up till it is time for him to get ready for bed around 1900-1930. After we do his little bedtime routine, he’ll play for a bit (if he isn’t so sleepy), a last diaper change, then he is off to dreamland for the night.

It isn’t the most predictable routine, but it works well for the three of us (so far). We’ve come a long way especially since Travis lacked a routine the first few months, which proved to be very frustrating for all three of us.
